About Us
Our names are Cheryl and Glynna. We have been raising puppies since 1995 and Alaskan Malamutes specifically since 2003. Here at Canyons we raise quality, spoiled, purebred Alaskan Malamutes. We have many repeat customers and good, reliable references.

We strive to have genetically sound and social puppies with outgoing personalities and great temperaments.

Our Story
We aren’t going to tell you how many pulling competitions our
Alaskan Malamutes win or how they win best in show. In truth,
we just don’t do that; though, many previous customers have told us
that puppies from Canyons do very well in shows and competitions.
Our malamute puppies and dogs are spoiled rotten daily! We love our
dogs and do lots of fun things with them. They even pull sleds,
carts, and buggies in the annual Oklahoma State University (OSU)
homecoming parade and the annual Stillwater Oklahoma Christmas
parade. Our malamutes travel with us and we take them everywhere.

Canyons is located just outside Stillwater, OK and has puppies growing
up across the lower 48 states here in the USA. We also have had two in
Hawaii and two in China!
Our first experience with Alaskan Malamutes was about 20 years ago.
We got our beloved Rocky at the tender age of eight weeks. He was
half Alaskan Malamute and half Great Pyrenees. He was the biggest
love of our lives. He was slow and sweet. He always wanted to please
us. He was Cheryl’s constant companion and her heart dog. Rocky was tragically taken from us on December 20th, 2003. We know Rocky waits for Cheryl at the Rainbow Bridge. When we came to grips with the loss of our Rocky, we got Manitou (a.k.a. Two). Two was a full blood Alaskan Malamute. He was a well-behaved Canine Good Citizen with lots to say and even more personality. Two loved to boat, eat ice cream, go tailgating, visit the girls at the drive through bank, and go motorcycle riding. Two passed on October 26, 2015. He was so well known around Stillwater and surrounding areas that some friends held a get together in remembrance and almost 100 people turned out!
We have people around the world who love our dogs. In fact, they love them so much some of them have two or three! When you get a dog from Canyons Malamute, we will be here for you every step of the way. We are always ready to answer any questions you might have. With Canyons, you don't just get a puppy, you get a new family!
